Picked a local to me (30ish mins) site for my first adventure out as a caravaner. Jeff and Allison were fab and friendly from booking to check in. Allison greeted us at the gate when we arrived and told us we had our pick of the pitches apart from he hard standing which was reserved for one night whilst we were there. So the whole site basically to ourselves, we couldn’t have asked for more. Site has good access from the main road, with plenty of space to pull car and van off the road before the gate. Site is on the main road so there is some road noise but this didn’t bother us one bit. Lovely pitches that they are currently growing hedges in between. Nice level pitches. 16amp EHU, communal water point, motorhome drive over waste disposal/grey waste grid and chemical loo disposal point with dog waste bin next to it. Daily visits from the chickens :) who are very friendly and lots of partridge in the surrounding fields.
