Tranquility in a field
We had a lovely weekend at Oakdene, We were made welcome on arrival and were able to put our bikes in the shed which was great as it saved us pitching the awning. A well kept site, good access even for a twin axle 8m long 'van pus tow car. The hardstanding we were on was actually big enough for our monster caravan and perfectly level, a real bonus with a TA. Plenty to do in the area, we cycled and there are some nice routes to be explored nearby. Hack Green Secret Bunker isn't too far away and makes an interesting day trip.
