Arrived in November when the storms were coming through so thought this site would be fine, going by feedback and photo's. no CL sign on gateway, I looked on Google Earth before hand so had a good idea were it was, Pitches I found were made of a very fine white material which when wet got every where. I had to phone the owners to ask where the bins were, Outside the farm entrance gate, quite a way from the CL. There is a Pylon at the top of the site with cables going over several of the pitches. The day before we left I phoned again to ask if we could pay, I had to go to the farm office to pay. No owner come to see how we were. Site drained well in rotten weather. A new mobile home was being plumbed in at the top of the site above the lake.
Perfect seven night break at Oaklands Farm, Sandhurst, Kent
Oaklands Farm is a really quiet site set in beautiful countryside. There are country walks directly from the caravan site. We hiked across fields, woodland and vineyards to Bodiam castle. Bedgebury Forest and Hemsted Forest are good for mountain biking and are easy to reach via roads from the site. The local Tesco store is a 10 minute car drive away at Hawkhurst. There are a number of National Trust properties in the area too. We found plenty to do but equally enjoyed relaxing at the caravan pitch. Mark and Puri, the site owners were great… very welcoming, helpful with tips on places to visit and considerate. We definitely will return at some point!

Little bit of Paradise
A lovely quiet site surrounded by trees and birdsong.
A good sense of security, as the site is protected by heavy key coded gates. The fully serviced pitches made life very easy and it was helpful being on hardstanding. A very relaxed feel with a pleasant site owner nearby. An added bonus was that we found a Bee Orchid in full flower on the site, yellow flag irises in the two large ponds and evidence of bullrushes around the ponds. Helpfully the village with well stocked grocery stores and newspapers are walking distance from the site. The cost per night was £20 which included electricity. All in all an excellent CL site!

Will definitely be back! Very welcoming and quiet.
Stayed for 2 nights end of February and the site was well maintained and secure, away from the road yet very close to the village and numerous footpaths. Lovely healthy looking ponds with water and electric on every pitch. Very welcoming and friendly, will definitely be back in the summer when I'm sure it will be a haven for nature and wildlife. Thanks X
Very peaceful, tidy CL site in an attractive part of Kent, you need nothing more!
We stayed in our caravan for 5 nights, whilst travelling in 2 cars, over the August Bank Holiday 2020 period and found it was a very quiet site that suited us perfectly. It was well laid out with a secure gated entrance and well landscaped around an area of unfenced water that was very peaceful. Choice of 3 hardstandings or other grassed areas that most likely need some degree of levelling assistance, all of generous size with electric hook-up and individual water tap. There is an easy to access and use cassette disposal point. Price we paid was inclusive of the electric hook-up, just a bit more than price shown on-line but this suited our needs rather than using a meter. Communication with owner by mobile phone and text was straightforward as the gate code needs to be obtained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this site and look forward to visiting again when we return to the area. Steve and Sue

Lovely, quiet site, in an equally lovely and quiet area.
Very spacious, sheltered, and secure site. Water on each pitch is a nice touch. Grass is fairly long but the 3 hard-standing pitches are of a good size. The site has a noticeable slope, so ramps are recommended.
Attractive ponds within the site. The site is capable of accommodating 9 visitors with plenty of space between them, so with up to 5 each pitch is nicely isolated. When we were there only two pitches were in use, so just as we like it! Would have loved to be able to submit some photos.
Great walks in the area with extensive footpaths, including a 5km, cross-country route to Bodiham Castle. Road access to attractive local towns, such a Rye, and to the coast is easy.
Very Peaceful Site
We were Mark's first guests and he made us feel very welcome. He has just recently finished laying out the site and told us before we arrived that the grass had yet to take. Not a problem as there are hard standing pitches. Water & elec hook up on each pitch and brand new toilet disposal area. Access to the site is via an electric gate (code required) so very secure & safe. There is some open water on site so small children will need supervision but to my mind it helps break the site up. Once it is fully established it will be a delightful place to stay.
