Lovely CL

This is a really well kept and well laid out CL site. We stayed for a long weekend in October and were very lucky to have the place to ourselves!..The pitches are very spaced out so even if the site was busy you would have plenty of space. The owners were very helpful and welcoming and showed us where the facilities were. What a bonus to have a building with toilet, disabled toilet and a shower room. Everything you need and beautifully clean. Its only about a mile to Huttoft Bank beach, which is dog friendly, has free parking and even has a concrete cycle path going all the way to Mablethorpe. We had a lovely break here and will definitely be back next year.

First tour.

We deliberately chose a small site close to home for our first trip out as caravan owners, and we weren't disappointed. The welcome was friendly and relaxed, the pitches are well maintained and in a quiet secluded sun-trap of a field. All facilities are clean. Would recommend this site to anyone looking for peace and quiet, yet within easy reach of 'traditional' seaside life.

Haven

This was our 2nd visit to this site. Owners both very welcoming, loved meeting DJ & Liebe the resident goats! Nice, big tidy pitches although the corner one is a very shaded plot throughout the whole day, and a couple are on slightly uneven ground. Immaculate toilets and shower (require 50p). A quiet, peaceful spot, ideal for a short car trip into Sutton or Mablethorpe. 30 minute walk to Farmer Brown's coffee and home-made ice-cream shop. Another 20 mins away to a quiet beach area with free car park. Definitely will visit again.

What a gem

First time on this CL and not disappointed. Very spacious, plenty of room between pitches and plenty to choose from. Facilities fine, clean and well maintained although didn't use the shower. Owners very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Only one slight niggle is that grass mowings not picked up so could be a problem treading into van. We were fortunate that we chose a pitch recently vacated so no mowings in surrounding area. Will definitely recommend and we will go back.

Great site

Booking via email was easy with speedy response. Very muddy due to the rain before we arrived - can't be helped and Chris was very helpful with the tractor when we were leaving. Peaceful site and very green. Handy information shed. Two separate toilets and a shower (50p slot for 4mins). About a mile down to the shore and from there a great bike track (level) to Mablethorpe (Seal Sanctuary is great here). Good walks from here too. Some of the nearby seaside towns are not at their best but the beach huts are interesting. Local town of Sutton in Sea pleasant enough but not a lot to see/do.  Sit itself though is nice - just a pity we didn't see it as it's best due to the muddy field.  Owners helpful, friendly and available.

what a great place.

This was our first time on a cl, what a fantastic week we have had. The welcome we had from the owner's was really great , they had time to explain where everything was, there was home made jam, eggs, both chicken and duck . A very peaceful and pleasant site. The other people using the site were very friendly. We will be back. Next year.

Exceptional

We have just returned home after 9 nights at Olcote Farm CL. This CL is perfect if you want peace and tranquility, apart from the occasional cock a doodle doo in the mornings. The facilities provided are very good and the owners do not bother you unless you want them to.The site was absolutely perfect for us.We cannot fault it. Linda and Geoff Hickman

Excellent CL

Just spent the last week in October at this CL and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The owners are friendly and welcoming and take pride in their site. Everything is kept immaculate, from the pitches to the recycling area. Hope to return next year.

lovely welcome. lovely site.

Perfect for getting to the lovely beach. I can only say 'ditto' to the other reviews. The grass was quite soft for our motor home and we got a bit stuck but the owner quickly brought out grass mats and we got moving. A pity there are no hardstanding pitches - we weren't offered one and didn't see any. It is quite awkward to get to fill with water especially having to drive quite a way on soft grass. Another tap or two would be a huge advantage. Shower at 50p and toilet good and adequate. A smashing tidy, lovely site. Well worth a visit.
