If you want to visit the coast of Lincolnshire and are after a quiet and relaxing stay then look no further than Olcote farm. A warm welcome on arrival sets the scene for an enjoyable stay on a quiet and secluded site yet only a mile from the wonderful East coast beaches. Although the site is divided up into nine pitches only five are used at any one time. At first appearance the site seems to be rather uneven but each pitch is fairly level and just requires a bit of manoeuvring to get your van level, no levelling blocks are required. Facilities are excellent for a CL with two clean toilets and a shower available for those who require it. Fresh water and re-cycling bins etc are all located next to the owner’s bungalow along with a small information hut which was well stocked with leaflets showing local amenities and attractions. Peace & quite is certainly the main attraction of this CL and being only a mile away from Huttoft terrace makes it an ideal location for a get away from it all weekend. This is the first time we have been to this CL and it certainly will not be the last. And if like us you appreciate seaside fish and chips then make sure you visit “Waldo’s” in Sutton-On-Sea for they must do the best chip suppers around.
