We booked and paid on the phone, and had been told to just park up on any available pitch. This we did,and did not see the warden at all during our 5 day stay, which was ok because of the covid distancing. A small site, we used our own facilities. We found access to the water and waste a small problem, as there is not much room behind the van parked in pitch 1, not a huge problem but a nuisance as you need to get close to the parked van. Pitches are pleasant, clean and are on slate chippings, so no mud!! The view is a raised meadow, so not much to see, although there is a short mowed path right around. A busy road means some road noise, but most of the noise came from a large party in the adjacent holiday let, who partied in the garden until the early hours, not conducive to a peaceful stay. Easy to drive to the sites in the Southern lakes, and to the coast.
