We pitched up at this CL which was close to friends in Durham and Newcastle. Although the site was sloping it was relatively easy to get flat and level. The view through our breakfast window was lovely and peaceful. Local pub provided excellent food and drink, was Covid-secure and friendly and accommodating. Trips into Durham centre were helped by local Park and Ride, even cheaper when age-related bus passes were used. Owners, extremely friendly and provided eggs from their hens on arrival. Good to see that waste was segregated and recycling was encouraged. Dave and Alison Rimmer
