Lovely site and area

We spent 10 days at this lovely site, so much to see and do in the area. Gill and Chris were there if we needed advice on the area. Lots of National trusts and walks. The site does get a bit wet , Chris towed us off as we don’t have a 4x4. Next year they are going to add some hard standings which will be better. Thank you Chris for your help

ONE OF THE BEST CL'S OF THE CAMC NETWORK

The CL run by a very friendly couple, Chris and Jill is a great place to visit, relax, take in the views and in the beautiful village of Ditton Priors. The village has a pub, a shop and Post Office, a butchers (home made pies) and The Willows a lovely cafe. The grass is cut short and picked up and is always immaculate. The WC is spotlessly clean and there is a recycling system in place. We have visited this site twice now and being so good and enjoyable during this last visit we were joined by our friends. We all had a great time and the weather was kind. Ideally placed for visits to Ludlow, Bridgenorth, Much Wenlock and further afield. This is an ideal site for us and we hope other caravanners give it a try it really is "one of the best".

Fantastic site with beautiful views

Chris and Jill we lovely, friendly farmers living next to the field we stayed on. The site was extremely clean and set amongst beautiful Shropshire countryside near the lovely little village of Ditton Priors. There’s a local quirky pub within a 10 min walk and a great butchers with the best sausages we’ve ever had 👌 Don’t be put off by the name bungalow it’s far from (as the name suggests) a suburban housing estate. TV reception excellent and so easy to get to Ludlow & Bridgnorth. Can’t wait to go back Nigel and Deb Cox 👌

Great place to stay

This is a really well kept site, very clean facilities including the toilet and Elsan waste disposal. Great location for walks and cycling. We walked up Brown Clee from the site, lovely varied scenery. From Brown Clee we walked to The Boyne Arms who do a free taxi back to the site which is really worth doing! Jill was very friendly and helpful. Would definitiely recommend.and would stay again.

Perfect CL

I had a wonderful week (had the site to myself for most of it) at this lovely CL in beautiful Shropshire. The owners Chris and Jill were very friendly and helpful and work hard to keep the site immaculate. 5 grass pitches all with EHU and 2 taps situated between the 5 pitches facilitate easy tank refills. The view from each pitch is across open farmland (sheep and cows in the field whilst I was there) and whilst there is a little road noise at times this is infrequent and does not spoil the peace and tranquility of this site. The village of Ditton Priors is a 10 to 15 walk away where you will find a lovely cafe, quirky pub, well-stocked shop, Butchers and garage. There are many lovely footpaths nearby and so many historic towns to visit in the County. My dog and I had a lovely week and we look forward to visiting again.

Relaxing short break

The site is on the edge of the village which has a post office,a butches, a shop and a cafe as well as a pub . The shop has a good stock of items and not overly expensive. The butchers has a good selection of meat , pies etc The site itself was very easy to access from the road . The pitches were all on grass with a very slight slope on the far end pitch. Electric is on every pitch and 2 water taps between the five pitches . Good clean Elsen point and grey water point ( not drive over) . The hosts were very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. Even went out of their way to find where to park our motorhome in Bridgenorth . Information hut with books to borrow: swap and leaflets on the local area. The whole experience of our stay was outstanding . We are already planning when we can visit again

Really good find

We have just spent 6 nights (09/05/22) on this wonderful site, Jill and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful. The site is well laid out with water taps between the pitches, there is a toilet on the site. As stated in the description of the site you are well placed for visiting places of interest in the area. Would have no hesitation in recommending this site.

Great place for a holiday

What a lovely little piece of England. We stayed on this CL for just over two weeks in September and to our mind the perfect CL. The fact that yes, although there is some road noise, it certainly did not ruin our time there. Most of the traffic was farm orientated and it is in the country!! The toilet was up and running when we visited and once the busy season (I know, it is always busy on a farm) is over, I am sure that the information half of the cabin will be finished. The owners of this new CL should be proud of themselves. All level pitches, grass regularly mowed ( and cuttings removed - always a bonus !) with the toilet facility and immaculate 'service' area - brilliant. Good luck to the owners. Shame on the person who left their ground sheet in situ for the length of their stay.

Great site

New site with considerate owners. Chris and Jillian very accomodating and interested in making your stay very good. Level site with lovely condition grass in great location with electric and toilet. Walk on Long Mynd was incredible. Village has pub, shop, fuel station and butchers. Not open all week though for some. Nice 6 mile run road circuit from sìte, very quiet. Lots of great walks within 20 mins. Access for caravans good. Best approach is maybe from north but we did south on arrival in error and it was alright. Good luck Chris and Jillian we will be back.
