We had a lovely 10 day stay here over Easter. There was a water tap at every pitch but unfortunately the way we positioned our caravan an awning meant our 10m pipe wasn’t long enough but with the showers it wasn’t an issue. A brilliant location for sightseeing and activities. A leisurely 13 min bike ride through Potterne Park led us into Moors Valley Country Park. The kids (7&9) loved the trails and playgrounds and especially Go Ape. Within an hour you could visit several NT houses, Bournemouth, Poole, Monkey World, Corfe Castle, Studland and Brownsea Island. There was plenty to do in every weather. There is a nursery next door but we weren’t disturbed by them at any time of the day. You could hear people walking past but it was just general chatter not shouting or yobbish behaviour. The weather was beautiful and we made the most of having the park within such a short distance (saving on the eye watering parking charges). Just brilliant for families.
