Well, decide to have a late winter braek on teh last weekend of November. Thought about going east to Berwickshire, checked the forecast and decided to go west - just as well as Storm Arwen arrived!! We had 50 mph winds on the first two night, plus a dusting of snow and frost - but the awning withstood the battering that's nothing to whay the the poor souls or the east coast endured! Anyway - to the site itsself. Super easy online booking and payment system, easy to find and access, spacious and spotlessly clean. We were one of only two 'vans on the site over our 4 night stay and were welcomed by hosts Ian and Cate, who were attentive without being intrusive. Lovely view westward to Arran, which will be stunning in good weather and only 15 minutes from lovely beach walks in Ayr and at Troon (If you are visiting Troon I would really recomment the Lido bistro for a lovely lunch or evening meal). We will return.
