A forever favourite

We have been using this CL since 1994 when our daughter started at Nottingham University and have visited off and on ever since. Over the years the only change affecting caravanners has been the sad departure of Adrian's Dad, Dennis to the great CL in the sky. He was such a lovely man. Adrian and Rebecca are very busy and it may prove difficult to locate them but don’t worry, they’ll show up eventually. You have to bear in mind that the CL is only a small part of a much bigger farming and equestrian business. They don’t mind where you pitch, within reason, so just go for it. As the photos show, the site is sloping and you will need levelling blocks, but the viewer are to die for. The walking opportunities from site are innumerable, make sure you have the OS map. An easy walk into Dale Abbey brings you to the Carpenters Arms or into Stanton by Dale to the Chequers and the Stanhope Arms. Didn’t try the Cowshed but it looks good.
