2nd visit - As good as ever!

This was our 2nd visit to Passage Farm, the first being in August last year, and it was as good in April as in August! We had a wonderful month, with our grandchildren joining us for 2 weeks. Peaceful and quiet, lovely owners, lovely chickens (our grandchildren love 'the girls'!) and an excellent location for visiting places of interest. Once again we visited WWT Slimbridge - it was nice to see it at a different time of the year. We watched the brave souls surfing on the Severn Bore from the road by the Anchor Inn at Epney, enjoyed visits to Goodrich Castle, and Chepstow Castle where we saw Sammy the Seal in the river Wye - Chepstow is lovely! We also visited Birdland at Bourton on the Water, beautiful Tewkesbury and the lovely NT property Westbury Court Garden - there is so much to see and do in the area. We loved watching the hares in the field by the caravan site, and we put up our bird feeders - there are so many birds, including pheasants, grouse, great spotted woodpeckers, finches and tits. It's so nice to be able to walk 5 minutes down the road to The Old Passage Inn which serves good vale food in large portions. We will be back!
