The site is situated in a rural spot, lovely and quiet. We were welcomed by Rita and directed to pitch. Electric is metered, £1 & £2 coins needed very reasonable charges! Toilet kept very clean. Shower not open at present due to Covid. All bins provided for general waste and recycling. Site is clearly maintained to a very good standard, we were fortunate to have great weather this week while here, and the site is a great sun trap! We visited a few places while here, varying from 30 mins for journeys. We haven’t spent much time in this area of Yorkshire before and were very impressed with the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. There is a lovely pub in the village called The Star Inn, food is great, and staff very friendly. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this CL will be going in our book to remember!
