Out in the Sticks but beautiful!

This site is in a rural location, and the view from here is stunning. Spent many a happy evening just chilling out admiring the view. The site is on a slight slope, and if it rains too much can be a bit boggy to get cars/vans off site. The facilities on site are very basic but adequate. If you want a hot shower, this cost 20p, and gives you a reasonable amount of time to have a decent shower in. There is also a sink and small boiler available for washing up in the wash-house, should your van be limited in this department, which we found handy to use. The location of this site, means you would be well advised to stock up on provisions before arriving at site, due to limited access to shops. Nearest town that we located was about 1/2 hr drive away. On site there is a double swing, which the children enjoyed playing on. The site is big enough for children to run around without causing a nuisance to other campers. There are some beautiful beaches nearby (Blue Flag award) which are well worth a visit. Area is great for those who like to walk and cycle. In our personal opinion we felt that this site is not the best location for being able to access places of interest, other than the beaches, particularly on rainy days, as we had to travel a way to find places of interest. We would recommend however visiting the National Trust property "Plas yn Rhiw" as we enjoyed viewing the garden and house there. However if you like to get away from it all, then this site is perfect for you.
