We’ve just stayed 5 nights at this lovely CL. Such a peaceful setting in the beautiful gardens. Toilet and shower were great (50p for 5mins in the shower which was more than enough). There are bins, recycling, fresh drinking water and toilet a disposal point. Mrs Hood is a lovely helpful lady who explained where everything was on our arrival. She was even able to accommodate us for an extra night as we wanted to stay on a little longer. The gardens are beautiful and my children loved exploring them and visiting the chickens. We will definitely return!
A little gem of a CL
What a beautiful little CL site this is. We arrived and parked on hardstanding overlooking Mrs Hoods beautiful gardens with views of rolling countryside in the distance. Mrs Hood is a wonderful spritely lady, who was friendly and made us feel very welcome. The site is brilliantly placed just outside of Truro, with easy access to the whole South West coast. Birdsong woke us every morning and owls hooted at night...idyllic. There were some issues with the shower facilities, but we understand that these are being sorted soon. A really lovely 10 days here, we will be sad to leave.
A little piece of heaven
Wow! What a wonderful little site. We stayed two nights and had the site all to ourselves. Even Mrs Hood was away. The garden is beautiful and we have bought a couple of plants to help our own along. Despite Mrs Hood’s absence everything was available and kept clean. Definitely a place to return to in the future.
Great site
Lovely site with gracious hosts. We stayed over Christmas holiday and even during this off-peak time Mrs Hood and family made us feel most welcome and taken care of. One note, we took our small caravan and managed okay with parking as there were no other visitors on site, but next time we stay here we will take our small campervan instead to make manoeuvring easier. Also, when arriving you may want to consider reversing from the road into the garden site, depending on which pitch you are on. Very peaceful and great location to explore Cornwall!

Wonderful site
Such a wonderful CL set in the large garden, welcomed by a Mrs Hood's grand daughter and all facilities explained, beautiful gardens, extremely well maintained. Toilet & Shower are excellent.
Mrs Hood could be found in her favourite place the garden/greenhouse, potting plants on, lovely lady to speak too. Had a good laugh, having been CL owners for over 15 years not a million miles away and the fact we had won the 2009 Best Regional CL, we were soon shot down with her achievements and numerous visits to London.
Will be visiting every time to come to our relative in Truro.
Beautiful gardens
This was a dream find easy to get to off the a39 a bit tight to get in and out but no major problems nice warm welcome by Mrs hood , nice flat pitch with easy water and electric hook ups. Her garden is fantastic Well matured trees and shrubs and a large paddock at the back. She sells on shrubs and fresh eggs from the chickens which we took advantage off. Toilet and separate shower kept clean all the time we were there.
Just Beautiful
Beautiful site set in owners huge garden and the area is stunning.
Clean shower and separate loo.
Mrs Hood and her family are welcoming, helpful and really lovely.
A very happy and friendly place.

So very peaceful.
We had a lovely weekend at Mrs Hood's CL. such a wonderful place only a short walk up the road to the bus stop with buses ever half hour into Truro such a very interesting city.
The CL itself is wonderful, peaceful and quiet beautiful gardens and the toilet and shower is so very clean, we would really recommend going here if you are looking to be near to Truro and Falmouth, we will be going back again at some stage.
Thank you Mrs Hood for making us so welcome.
