This site is perfectly placed not far from the motorway to access Cardiff, loads of castles and attractions for the children. It was modestly priced but extras for children, awning etc did increase the price a bit. There was a nice walk down to a small wood and lake with the dog. The site was clean and tidy but the 5van is linked to the owner's private small site and did feel a bit tight on space when we arrived to find it busy. Some words of warning - if you have a long outfit ( we have a double axle van) the entrance is a nightmare and will either involve a skill full 90 degree rear turn or involve you unhitching and using a motor mover - made even more difficult when we came to leave to find someone had parked a car in part of the turning area and the owner could not be traced - that was fun!!! On one of our days the man came around to cut the grass, lovely. Until we returned to find our tow hitch cover had been ripped open and the rear van bumper scuffed as he had mown too close. The owner did apologise but didn't cough up anything for the damage!!!!!!! The only other negative was that the chemical disposal (an old sunken pipe) was under an old overgrown conifer tree and there is no way of flushing down what has been left before you!!!! Would we stay here again? Yes but probably only because of its location.
