first impressions

You have to get past the booking form with draconian regs., and rather cold email to visit and find this site friendly! A country location a few fields from the traiin line with long goods trains at night. Otherwise a large flat field. Best thing was the friendly local church, and good ring of bells!

Reply from the CL owner:

Hello, glad you got home safely.

Thank you for the feedback regarding our booking email, whilst always difficult to express intonation within written text we will review this legally essential, but perhaps presently functional, correspondence. We were glad that you found us a friendly bunch upon arrival though, and we too enjoyed our evening chats!

The village church bells a mile away are the envy of many, and next time you visit hopefully it will coincide with one of the historic steam train outings.  You may need a long telephoto lens to capture it from our CL, but they love our little rural train line, taking passengers from our “olde worlde” village request stop station down through the stunning Shropshire Marches and Welsh Valleys.

All the best, and thanks again for our daughter’s balloon!
