Relaxed and Peaceful

We had the most relaxing and peaceful weekend at this lovely CL. £10 a night is exceptional value for money. Lovely far reaching views. Well kept site .Everything about this site and our weekend there was easy.

Very relaxing CL near Wells

Very peaceful site just north of the lovely city of Wells. John the farmer and owner is a caravan user and he has a lovely open well maintained field with views across the countryside. Plenty of things to see locally. Access is restricted but few vehicles use the lanes, so easy to manage with care.

Lovely CL

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here at Pitt’s farm. The location is great; we walked to Wells (~2.5 miles) along the East Mendip Way which is easy to pick up from the site after walking down the lane and we cycled to Shepton Mallet, mostly along quite lanes. A photo of the little map near the services was all we needed to get us out exploring. Pitches nice and level, and yes the approach is along single track lanes but we didn’t meet oncoming vehicles so really not a problem. Amazing value at £10 per night.

Beautiful countryside

This CL is beautifully quiet, in the middle of the country. Lovely level field with stunning views. Close to Wells & not far from the seaside towns and Bath. Single track country lane to access for the last mile but no problem with a twin axel 7m caravan for us. Would definitely return.

Peace and quiet after a narrow approach

Spent 6 days on this wonderful site £10.00 for a site with electric hook up water and all in great value. I never saw the owner I think he was away on holiday, I left the site fee in the honesty box, and enjoyed every moment on site, Approach road is single track with a few passing places, but very quiet the whole time I was there I never met any traffic, Will definitely return.

perfect for a CL site - very friendly

The perfect spot to visit Wells and local attractions. The lanes were no where near as tight as most of the roads we had driven during our tour of Devon and Cornwall. We were the only campers on site so had pick of location. There was a little rope swing in the tree that the kids enjoyed and plenty of space to play football and frizbee. the owner is very relaxed and friendly. Wells, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge are all in really easy accesss. A lovely quite site, and brilliant value with it including electric hook-up.

Lovely quiet and peaceful

Spent 5 nights in early October 2018. Enjoyed the tranquillity and the location very much. Will return when we visit the area.

Fantastic

This was our first time at a CL site. It was just what we needed, relaxed, and in the middle of the countryside. Being based on a working farm and next to other farms there were some farm sounds but as we are from an agricultural background this didn't worry us at all. Mr Jones the owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. Although the site as wet due to the excessive rain of the past few weeks we got onto and off site with no problems. Very reasonable rates at £10 per night. The site was ideal for the local area of Wells and Cheddar. We'd definitely return again for another quite relaxing week. The display of daffodils in the site and up the main farm drive were a delight in the grey weather.

Tranquil and relaxing

We enjoyed two very peaceful and relaxing nights at Pitts Farm. Location to the charming city of Wells was ideal. Mr Jones was very welcoming and knowledgable of the surrounding area. His display of over 1,200 daffodils were amazing. If you are looking for peace and quiet with wonderful south facing views, then give Pitts Farm a try.

Lovely site

Great little side, it was wet when we visited but no trouble at all. Handy for Wells. Well kept. Easy to drive up to pay fees.
