You get what you pay for

I have said before that if a CL is going to open during the winter months, the ground conditions must be up to the job, and this site certainly isn't. The entrance track barely extends beyond the entrance gate, and the single small hardstanding had already been taken by a camper-van who seemed to be a permanent resident. This meant the site was like a ploughed field with huge tyre tracks and ruts making the place look extremely untidy, not to mention dangerous when topping up the water and emptying the waste. The owner gave me a wave from the lane as he was passing on his tractor, otherwise nobody came to say hello. The water is supplied by an electric pump, which failed one morning, and otherwise was extremely slow. There is no mobile or internet signal on our network O2 so we felt totally cut-off, and we did find the extremely narrow lanes and high hedges surrounding the site extremely claustrophobic. When I phoned to book, the owner said he operated an honesty box for payment, which we did, but I have no idea to this day whether he actually received it. All in all not an enjoyable stay and we would not visit again.

Aggie Pilot you get a bee in your bonnet. It's a CL. Couple of same reviews saying the same thing. Go to a club site and enjoy the perfect world of caravanning. A field with water and electricity made available that is exposed to the elements and is part of the experience.
