Ancient walled garden

This is a very pleasant site is in a picturesque and ancient walled garden of about HALF an acre, behind the 16th century manor house, with views over the fields to Denbigh castle from one corner. The walls shelter it from the weather and the noise of the nearby A525 is inaudible. There are plenty of interesting places to see nearby: Ruthin, Denbigh, Rhuddlan castle, St. Asaph cathedral, Bodelwyddan castle and church, Holywell, and the seaside at Rhyl, or it is a good base for walking in the Clwydian hills. The facilities are adequately clean, and if you can't find the drinking water, the tap is concealed in the ivy on the wall of toilet/shower building.
