Ease of arrival/welcome

Disappointed

We specifically booked this site for the views but there were none. The surrounding hedges were well over 6 feet high, and had not been cut for a long time. When we arrived a man was cutting the grass, which was very long, and we spent our time trailing cut grass into the caravan. The site was lovely and peaceful, with a resident pair of pheasants, and lots of song birds. However, the worst part was the septic emptying point. You will need a machete to get in, and I could not even get to the tap in the corner because of an overgrown holly tree. It is such a pity as the location was perfect, and although it is on narrow lanes, the access was not too bad. Looking back at other reviews, it appears it was a nice site, that has recently been neglected.
