A word of warning before you book. Don't get Mathew the owner talking about the Northern Lights, you might get earache! Seriously though ,what a lovely tranquil oasis away from the hurly burly of some sites. We have just spent 5 nights here including through the last "Hurricane". We had the site to ourselves and the wild life we saw was amazing. We were treated to a flock of Pheasants every morning and evening so tame they practically ate out of our hands. We lost count of the species pf birds we saw. The owners have taken the trouble to put a Hut in the field which contains a selection of books, magazines and general local information. They have even supplied a water carrier in case you forget yours! Mathew and his Wife were extremely helpful; and despite the opening comment a delight to talk to. We will be back most definitely. We didn't have time to do all the local walks. Final word....Thank you Mathew for providing this excellent CL for the benefit of the members,look forward to meeting you again Drs John and Sue
