Peaceful site with wonderful views

Enjoyed a week at this site. The grass is cut and collected. The pitches are on slopes, so levelling blocks needed. The site was very peaceful and the location was great to access Snowdonia and Anglesey. It is nice to have toilet and shower facilities provided on a CL. We would come back to this lovely site.

A fantastic CL site

Spent 3 nights on this well run CL site. The grass was being cut as we arrived. Grassing cuttings all collected. We choose this site for the cycle paths close by. Cycled to Caernarfon on the first day. Second day cycled to Criccieth. Traffic free or quiet lanes all the way. Lots of walks from the site. Mr Roberts made us feel very welcome. We will be back. If only to re-acquaint with his wonderful chickens!

Lovely site

This is a clean, well organised site. Very peaceful. The site does slope a bit but it's not a problem neither is the approach. Mr Roberts is very attentive and helpful, visiting his guests each day. Our grandson loved the hens (as we did) roaming around the field. There are some great beaches close by and the castle in Caernarfon is well worth a visit. We were only able to spend a couple of nights on this occasion but we will be back.

A nice place

Easy to find and no narrow roads care needed at entrance as gate is a bit narrow , the top of the field is nearly level and grass is cut and collected 4 of the pitches have their own tap which is a bonus the shower is a pound for 8 minutes I found eco setting most reliable temperature good roads for visiting area but found Caernarfon disappointing very run down and dirty there is a good cycle track very near the site. I recommend this site as a base for touring this area

Peaceful and central site

Easy site to locate with easy access. Mr Roberts was very attentive and friendly on arrival. The site is central to all the sites in North Wales and the view of Snowdon was un expected! The field has a gentle slope and is well maintained. Because of the lack of light pollution the night sky was stunning. We recommend a visit to this site and we will return.

A lovely quiet and peaceful CL

This was my second stay at the CL and I’ve come back for the lovely peaceful and well kept site. The site toilet was always kept clean. It is just a few minutes off the main A487 so it is easy to get to and I had no problem with the access. Located just south or Caernarfon which is well worth a visit. A great cycle track that runs just up the road in Penygroes, though Caernarfon up the side of the Menai Strait to port Dinorwic. Just up the end of the Nantlle valley is the start of Snowdon, Rhyd-Ddu path. Lots of other walk close at hand.

Peaceful site

We visited August 2019. There is nothing bad to say about this site! Access was no problem for our twin axle. We were met by Mrs Roberts on arrival and could choose our pitch. We risked the bottom of the hill due to the position of other units and although we had a full day of torrential rain we did not flood and although squelshy it drained quickly. We were handed lots of leaflets of places to visit. Mr Roberts soon visited to welcome us too. Site is sloping, which wasn't a problem. Lovely views of a distant Snowdon on a good day. We actually managed to get the kids to climb it (age 11 and 8)! Facilities were good and clean. Site well situated for exploring the local area. If you turn right on leaving the site there is some amazing scenery. Quiet and relaxing. There are walks from site. Plenty of space for the kids to play and the chickens were entertaining too. We visited all over the area Conwy, Caernarfon, Anglesey, Beddgelert, Snowdon to name a few. The kids enjoyed crabbing on Holyhead. Would certainly return.

Beautiful quiet site tucked away from the roads with a great view

We had a very pleasant stay here in the summer if 2019, plenty of space, great views and walks. More than adequate facilities for a CL, well kept. Friendly owners and chickens. Would absolutely stay again.

nice site

We had a good holiday on this farm site, with views towards Snowden (we turned our van around or would have been facing some farm buildings) Mr Roberts met us as we arrived and again came as we left. He gave us a pack of places of interest in the area which was really useful. The site was clean with cut and collected grass and well spaced out. Toilet and shower clean but basic (a mirror for the shaver plug would have been useful). There was lots to do in the area from walks to towns with castles to mountains and rivers. Nice little site altogether

Peaceful well located site

Lovely CL with a very peaceful feel. We spent 5 super days exploring the local area, taking the mountain railway to the top of Snowdon, visiting Anglesey, Caernafon and Porthmadog and much else between. The location was perfect for this. Mr Roberts met us on arrival and gave us an excellent pack of information on the local area. The site is mainly sloping but it is relatively easy to get level and there are plenty of EHU points not to limit where to set up. Our only concern was the very narrow walled farm lane for access which left very little room on either side of our caravan.
