As others have said, access to the site is easy. The field is well maintained, sheltered and a perfect aspect if you are sun lovers like us! We walked to New Quay via a beautiful 6 mile route including quiet lanes, a wooded valley with a pretty stream with waterfalls before popping out on the coast path and heading north to New Quay, stunning! The beach is only 2 miles away, but this was a prettier route!! We also managed to walk the two miles home mostly via footpaths (the very last bit was on the main road), but there is a bus too. If you are not interested in beach facilities (or the crowds that go with them), you can access the New Quay beach at the far end by turning left out of the site and heading to a free, wooded car park with a very short walk to the beach. All in all we would recommend this site!
