Nice little site, very peaceful and great location for visiting our daughter in Whiteley. Great price with facilities as an added bonus, site owner very friendly and helpful, would return again.

Nice Site

Lovely little site. Paul the owner very helpful & friendly. The field itself is natural, unkept grass, a little rough in places but this is a field not a small replica of a bigger site & suited us perfectly. If you want regimented space & manicured lawn then this is not the place for you. There is plenty of space to find our own quiet corner. Toilets & shower clean & very serviceable and are shared with the fishing customers. Slight road noise from the close by M27 & there is a nearby trainline but neither of these disturbed us. My only comment is that I searched for an adults only site & this came up however when we got there there was a large caravan & awning with children. They were very well behaved & did not bother us at all but if you are really looking for an adults only spot this was not what we found on this occasion. Maybe worth asking when you book. Would we go back. Yes!!

Perfect weekend get away

Fabulous little CL site which is local to us, perfect for a weekend getaway. The owner Paul was very welcoming and had a chat with us once we were set up. Modern toilets (1 x male and 1 x female) and a shower. All clean and modern. We did not use the facilities as we have our own onboard. These facilities are used by the fisherman. Paul is developing the site and apologised for the noise due to works being undertaken. This did not affect us or spoil our break. Will definitely be back for future visits.

Peaceful site

This is a relatively new site based in beautiful surroundings. There is still work to be done but this shouldn’t detract from the peaceful location. Access is well sign posted from main road. The owner is very helpful and friendly and was there on arrival and departure. Genuinely interested in how your stay was Toilets and shower are modern and clean. I was only there for one night so didn’t use any of the other amenities so can’t comment on them. Although close to the M27 I wasn’t disturbed by any road noise and had a good nights sleep. I would happily return to the site, at only £10 It’s great value for money.

Appalling site.

Doesn’t deserve to be a CAMC CL, Building rubbish blocking tap, elsan point overgrown and unmarked, no waste bins! Need I say more.

Tranquil Site with Potential

This is a new CL to the network and in places it shows! Although the site is between the M27 and Fareham it is a tranquil area of woodland, we were not disturbed by either trains or traffic, both can occasionally be heard but it does not intrude. Levelling blocks are needed and with long grass, wellies in wet weather too. The loo block is excellent but it’s a bit of an obstacle course to get to it. The rubbish bin needs emptying regularly, foxes had strewn waste around when we were there. Will we be back? You bet we will!

First visitors to this new CL

Great welcome and plenty of space. Paul is working to get the facilities just right and it will be a great base for visiting Southampton and Portsmouth. Can be a bit noisy with the M27 and railway close by - but a lovely green location none the less. We were honoured to be the first visitors.
