A difficult one

This is a difficult one. The grass is short and collected , The site is level. A handy roadway down the middle. Stuart the owner is lovely and very helpfull. The shower and toilet are very adequate although I don't think I have ever been on a site where the toilet and shower is used by so many campers. It was free and clean. We stayed for almost 3 weeks and enjoyed our stay there. We asked Stuart if we owed him any more for our daughter, partner. and granddaughter spending a week with us, and another granddaughter and boyfriend spent a weekend with us. There was no extra charge which i thought was wonderful.one and a half miles to Twywn beach/ town. 5 miles to Dol Golch waterfalls. and on the way back a must is the honey ice cream factory. Four miles takes you to the quaint Aberdifi, with its beach and sand dunes. Now the bits I didn't want to mention, sorry Stuart. i so disagree with sites advertised at £10 a night and when you enquire they are £15 a night. Your site with shower/ toilet is worth it. Next the site is very narrow and if you are on the hedge side with views to the front you are looking into opposite caravan windows. Also the noise from the road is not too bad, its' the idiot drivers who speed at speeds well over 60/70/80 + mph. brrrummmm brummm past the site that startle and create the noise. All that said if I wanted to visit this area again, I would stay here.

Why should this review be "difficult" John had a very good deal staying here with his extended family who made full use of my facilities No mention of an extra 5 people when origionally booking. I have amended next years advert in the club directory His entourage consided of caravan, awning, tent annexe, additional sheltered area , lights , two cars . I despair at the repeated comments about "noise" . The site, and my house, is next to a main "A" road between Tywyn and Aberdovey which is derestricted ie 60 mph. It's not the A1 and traffic usage and noise is minimal in the real world.  I cannot understand how reviews of the same CL can be so contrary. I do my best to provide a relaxing environment but there are certain things beyond my control. I don,t know how damaging from a business context unfavourable reviews are but from a personal viewpoint  I find them demoralising, I feel like packing in!
