My husband & I stayed here during the w/e of the Goodwood Revival as he is a volunteer marshall. This was our first visit to the site and we were very impressed. The proximity to Goodwood for cycling is excellant - there is a short cut lane but the middle goes through a copse and is unmade so caution is needed.The fenced in dog field was perfect for letting our rescue JRT off lead and we enjoyed watching the dog agility sessions too! The site is very well maintained and the hosts very welcoming. The noise from the road abated as we adjusted and was not an issue during our stay. Great area for dog walking and cycling. There is an underpass which is preferable to crossing the A27 which I would recommend! Barnham train station is another option to avoid the dual carriageway on bikes to visit nearby Chichester or Arundel. The little town also has a good sample of shops including a newly established bike repair shop where they carried out a replacement brake cable and adjustment on the spot! There are also places of interest nearby as well as the West Sussex beaches. All in all a lovely sunny site which we can highly recommend and will certainly return to in the future.
