Ease of arrival/welcome

A lovely weekend staying at Romany Meadow

A beautifully kept site and a nice welcome on arrival. A good space for each pitch, a slide and room for youngsters to play and a dog excercise area (on lead unless recall is good as not completely fenced). We stayed here for the Old Buckenham Country Park Balloon festival and it was well placed for that. Needed a car to get there and back but that was not a problem at all. Had a nice visit to New Buckenham while we were there and enjoyed picking up the keys from the village shop to go and see the castle ruins which was worth the short walk to the edge of the village - the grass was so nicely kept and the castle was intriguing. Drove through Old Buckenham which looked to have a couple of nice pubs on our way to Attleborough which was small but welcoming (lots of charity shops to wander most of which were dog friendly which was nice and a handy Lidl for supplies). We were blessed with lovely weather and the site was really relaxing.
