lovely well kept quiet site

This is the second time we stayed on this site after originally staying for one night last year. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay for 4 nights this year from august 7th. We visited cheddar gorge, wells and Weston super mare. The site is handy for coast and city. Lovely site, quiet, clean and right in the countryside with good pubs in mark village, we will be back again soon.

Beautifully kept site

This site is a real treasure, its nice and quiet, and beautifully kept. The level grassy field is more like a huge well mown lawn, and the facilities on site are also very good. The seaside town of Burnham on Sea is around a ten minute drive away, with its sandy beach and has a good mix of eateries, little shops and Supermarkets. The beautiful Cathedral City of Wells is around half an hours drive away, and if like us you get a chance to visit on the Farmers Market day, you will not be disappointed. We will certainly be visiting Rookery Farm again.

Easter 2014

A superb site, quite, with easy access from the M5. Very friendly owner who keeps the site in great condition. I would not hesitate to recommend this CL to other members.

Overnight Stop - will be repeated!

We found we had a spare day and decided to book an overnight stay on our way down to Devon. Friendly welcome & easy access. Good facilities and we plan to visit again having appreciated its convenience just a short distance (5 mins) from the M5, and also some of the surrounding attractions that we would like to visit in the future. Certainly happy to recommend the site as one to visit. (PS - make sure you follow Mrs Petherams directions - they are more suitable than my sat nav!!)

Lovely quiet site, just what you want from a certified location.

Lovely little site in quiet countryside location. Village pubs serving good food within easy reach and you are close to many Somerset attractions. We only stayed for 1 night as we were on the way down to Cornwall but would love to stop for a few days next time and visit Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. Facilites are basic as with many certified locations but were nice and clean.
