Lovely Site

This is a little gem in the Suffolk countryside. We have stayed here in order to visit family. The owner is amazing and is so helpful. We got stuck in the mud once and he helped us out. We have stayed twice and likely to stay again. We found the sound from the trains quite calming. There is everything you need here in the countryside. Alton water is close and we have run and cycled around it. Thank you for such a lovely site.

Lovely Basic Site

Lovely little basic site. Nice location near Alton Water which is great for walking and cycling. Some noise from the train line which is nearby, but nothing too intrusive. Great pub in walking distance. As we were walking one day from the site two deer came scampering across our path, which was a lovely surprise.

Peaceful Weekend

Just spent the weekend at this peaceful basic CL. Access is easy, with good access from the A137, just follow the track, keep to the right and pass the barn the site is located to the left after the barn. It's a level well kept site, with water, Bins and CDP, no electric hook up in this site. Easy walking to the local Pub and just a easy walk to Alton Water. Also an easy drive to Jimmy's Farm. A great simple site for getting away from it all.

Peaceful basic CL

Good value, peaceful basic CL. When we visited in June 2015 the farm shop was no longer operating. Can recommend both the beer and the food at The Wheatsheaf, the pub at the crossroads. It is only a short walk but is along the busy road.  Site is also very close to Jimmy's Farm
