Our usual Holt site was full and so we booked on here as it looked good. It was not good it was fantastic and in 45 years of touring I would rate this well into our top 5 sites. The space between vans is over 20 metres with shrubs between giving complete privacy. Bird life is marvellous and we saw dear, hares, pheasants and red legged grouse with the odd hawk flying over. The grass is cut to a sensible length and Richard allows pitching in any direction. For 4 of the 7 days we had complete peace with 2 other caravanners and our cat. There always has to be a BUT and to spoil the peace and calm we had a next door neighbour who arrived and set up a 25ft. pole with a flag on top with a parrot on it. It was a bit windy and the parrot took full advantage with plenty of flapping, scaring off the other birds. How we were grateful for the space between !! Can I suggest Richard that your rules which cover no children and no dogs are amended to also include no bl.... parrots.
