We've just had a 3 night stay here and it was superb. Jean and Derrick are the welcoming owners and the site is surrounded by mature trees and shrubs which is lovely. It's very peaceful, and the location is perfect. Just a short walk down the lane you're on the river bank with fab views of the Bridge. Part of the Viking Way, the footpaths both ways are well maintained for walking or cycling. We walked for miles in both directions and there are plenty of different routes by the nature reserves. Lots of fishing available in the area. There's a Tesco by Ropewalk, a Co-op in Barton and The Haven Inn bar and restaurant is a 15-20 minute walk away. There's so much to explore and Roxton is a perfect base. We will definitely be back.
