Well located good site

Pre arrival Sandra made sure we approached from the correct route which was nice. Greeted at the site by Sandra and offered any pitch bar one which was occupied. The settings are impressive and the toilet block is perfect, even a locked gate at the end of the road for added security if you have any concerns. The location is perfect for Poole and Bournemouth as well as other points of interest, lovely area. Access to the site is easy off the main road just up the road off the main routes to Poole etc. I am sure it is normally very peaceful but we were awoken by a rooster which is at the neighbouring property not the fault of Sandra but annoying to be awoken at 0630!! TV reception is iffy but managed to watch local stations for news which was enough, all in all great site shoot the roster though lol ;-)

Great Escape!

We had a lovely week here. It is all that is described with a warm welcome from Sandra. We have a long outfit and had no problem. We are likely to go back - which says it all!

Not as peaceful as expected.

This site borders Boundary Lane which of course has some road noise. We were unfortunate enough to stay on an evening when there was a banger race meeting not that far away from the site. Also there is a somewhat continuous (day and night) drone of background road noise from the A31 which is approximately one half mile away. Yes it's a nice site but I could not describe it as tranquil due to road the road noise. We were made to feel welcome on arrival and the facilities are very nice and pleasant.

Perfect CL

Only 3 days here, but from arrival to departure, the site was perfect, the welcome warm and the space immense. Easy access, level site, well maintained and quiet. Would return again and again.

Hidden Gem

The site is ideal for a quiet relaxing break. The piches are very large and each one has a picnic table for sunny days. Its ideal for visiting the local towns and beaches either by car or public transport. Hurn forest is at the end of the road and is a good spot for a walk or cycle ride There's a restaurant / pub within 15 mins walk which serves good basic food and always have 2 for 1 offers on the main courses. Sandra (the owner) is frendly, welcoming & nothing is too much trouble. You'll need to book well in advance for the summer months as Sandra has alot of return visitors...which we'll definately become.

Friendly CL

We stayed at this CL Easter 2012. Sandra, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. Very well kept grounds. Spotlessly clean shower and toilets. Very secure site. Peaceful few days. Would recommend.

NEW FOREST HOLIDAY - OCT 2012

Simply a great site. A very warm welcome from the owner (Sandra) large pitches, very secure (entrance gate is locked 24/7) and very quiet. Would recommend to some one who wants a quite well kept site.
