Peace and Quiet

Visited in August. Lovely location, massive field, feel like you are on your own. Peace and Quiet at all times. Great helpful owners, two toilets and two showers, old but clean. Could not ask for more.

Superb site

Exceptionally well run site. Very spacious pitches and beautiful surroundings. Plenty of hot water in the 2 showers which are separate from the two toilets. Have visited twice and will be back. Owners helpful and friendly

Short break in dales

Just had a 4 night stay at seat house it was top class for a cl. The arrival was warm and welcoming from Mr &Mrs Wellock who gave us a couple of folders containing leaflets for walks and places to eat in the local area. Even though it is at the top of price range for a cl the showers and toilets were spotless a hot power shower. Also a lovely touch was the wooden picnic table and chairs or bench for each pitch. Would definitely go back next time in area.

Beautiful BUT

The site is beautiful, tidy and the owners very nice. We had a 5 day stay earlier this month (July 19)There are 2 cl sites within the farm. (Top field and bottom field) The views were excellent the site is quiet and they do have showers available. Where the BUT comes in is the value for money for your pitch.(ÂŁ17 per night +ÂŁ1 for an awning) We were in the top field and a trip to empty the loo would be at least 150 mts up and down a slope. (A hay trolley is available if required) All pitches (Top field) were occupied during our stay and not one received a TV signal. This was not a concern to us, but we have stayed in this area over the last two years on CL sites with equally as good views with the same facilities and in the case of one CL a full service pitch and ÂŁ2 to ÂŁ3 per night cheaper. Nothing wrong with the site just the price!

Still just as good

We have just spent 6 nights here , Mr & Mrs Wellock were away but had friends looking after site, they did a very good job and kept the site up to its usual good standard, lovely clean toilets & showers as always. the grass was nice and short , each pitch has its own picnic table a lovely touch, and pitches are not squashed together . We will certainly be returning again.

What a treat

We are regular visitors to this site and never stop liking it. You are given a warm welcome, with your name on a board telling you which field you are on. You can then choose the pitch you would like.Kath and Brian are so helpful, if you need them, and always keep the site and toilets and showers so tidy.I dont think there is anything bad you can say about this site because it is lovely.

Lovely CL site

Lovely CL Site. Owners are very helpful. Upon arrival we were told about local walks and we were given two ring binders full of local attractions, towns, villages and walks. We stayed for a week and there was plenty to do. Plenty of space and site is set out nicely. Showers were brilliant - hot and powerful. The only feedback we would give, is it might be easier if the pitches were numbered or if the customers surname was on a board on the actual pitch. We were a bit confused when we arrived. We checked where we could pitch with the owner and it ended up resulting in us having to move pitch, when we had already started setting up (confusion on both parts). Despite this, the owners were apologetic.

Fabulous CL Site

Had a long weekend at this fabulous cl site as we were attending a wedding in nearby Malham. We returned to the site by taxi and the farmer offered to run us back the following day for the car. He even left his Sunday lunch to do this. What a lovely couple, beautiful quiet site. Showers and toilets immaculate. Plenty room between the caravans, hard standings and even had a bench and picnic table on the pitch. Can’t praise this site enough, we will definitely return sometime.

Tranquil site

Just had a peaceful week on the site and found it very relaxing. The directions on the caravan club Snooper sat nav was spot on with the last couple of miles a bit tight on the roads but with passing places. Our name was on the welcome board which directed us to the cl site, there is another small site just over the wall and all use the facilities but we never found a queue. The shower and toilet block are first class but a bit of a walk from our pitch to the farm buildings where they are situated. The owners are very helpful and chatty but not intrusive. The main cl site is lawned and kept short with hard standing pitches. The only problem we had was there were hundreds of flies about, don't know if this was a one off, certain time of year or the weather conditions. Access from the site to the Dales is easy. We will definitely return.

Superb cl

What a great CL. Easy to access, friendly welcome, spacious pitches, immaculate toilets and showers, excellent location for all the dales have to offer. Brian and Kath, the owners are lovely people but not intrusive. Will be back soon to this superb quiet site. Really enjoyed our stay!
