Peaceful and away from it all

My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights in this beautiful little corner of Shropshire. Look out for race meetings on the Ludlow race course, as the road intermittently closes. The site was easy to find, up the short narrow lane after Culmington, if coming from the Ludlow end. I used Google maps and the full address. The site is flat and beautifully mown. I arrived after a few days of rain (early April 2023) and could only tow just inside the gate as the ground was very greasy; I couldn't get any further and I didn't want to spoil it. (I was the only guest expected.) It was dry enough to leave, after 3 days. I loved chatting to Mr & Mrs Turley in their lovely farmhouse kitchen. The Long Horn Herd are beautiful and I had a nice chat with Jo and Andrew who farm them. I found 4g cellular (EE & O2) signal very poor during the day, but quiet strong at night. A lovely place to be and a bargain too. I'll return.

Great stay, Covid-19 safe and friendly.

Perfect CL. Perfectly cut grass, quiet location. Friendly owners. Covid-19 taken seriously, a bin and recycling box for each pitch. Good walking from the site. Thanks for a great stay. Bill and Jan.

A little bit of Heaven

Great site, just like a CL should be, Power, Water Tap and somewhere to empty Loo. Well mown grass with cuttings collected. Poor mobile reception but who cares. Owners very pleasant available but not obtrusive . Great value for money. Do not follow CMC sat nav poi as this will take you elsewhere , just put in the site post code and you will be taken to the gate.

Our favourite CL

We love to visit this perfect CL whenever we can. It is a 6 hour drive from home but worth the effort. The owners are so welcoming but then leave you in peace for the rest of your stay. The farm is not intrusive so the site is very quiet and well maintained. I would highly recommend staying here. We have been visiting for the past 15 years.

Great little site

I agree with everything said by other reviewers but would just add that there is no phone, internet or tv reception on site. We don't have a satellite tv aerial so can't comment on that aspect. A warm welcome from lovely people on a very quiet, well kept site. Excellent value.

Shangri-La in Shropshire

When the are CLs like this, why go to club sites? Lovely, peaceful surroundings. Friendly, helpful owners. English Longhorn cattle and and calves and wildlife to watch. Got to up there with the best CLs in the country. OK, so it hasn't got loo's or showers or washing up areas .. but you are there in a caravan not sleeping in your car!

Seifton farm

Everything a CL should be. Friendly owner, well mown, quiet. It's also a reasonable price at £10 per night. So many CL's are charging over the top prices.
