Very good communication leading up to our visit of 3 nights stay at Severn lodge. We had a very warm greeting by Andy+Dawn on arrival. We arrived with friends and were able to be sited together.The site was very clean tidy and well looked after, all services were close to hand and clearly identified. The grounds are beautiful surrounded by fantastic views and abundant fruit trees .the river Severn is close by ,we were able to have a couple of mornings fishing whilst the kingfishers entertained us . The BBQ on Friday night which Andy and Dawn cooked was optional but so glad we participated .it helped us to meet others on site and a good evening was had by all , the food was scrumptious especially Andys home made lemon meringue pie . We shall return hopefully for Dawn's homemade cheesecake on the next BBQ . Welshpool was only a few mins away by car .Andy and Dawn were a wealth of information of things to see and do in and around Welshpool. 3 days of relaxing was had and we will very much enjoy returning to this gem of a site Severn lodge and to the friendliest hosts we have ever met . We thoughly enjoyed our complimentary breakfast baps on the morning of our departure ( bap if staying 2nights or more ) it was most appreciated Thankyou for a most enjoyable friendly stay at Severn lodge just praying when we want to visit again there will be places for us as I think you are going to be very popular in the future .
