Sublime site

Visited Shamwari for the first time and hope it wont be the last. Greeted by a smiling Carole who explained a few things regarding the site and showed us to our pitch. We could pitch our van any way we wanted on a very gently sloping very well kept grass site. Loads of space as with every other pitch, recycling area with fresh water and chemical toilet point all within a short walk so you are not chasing around the site. Dog walk also available should you need it. The first thing that hits you is the friendliness of Carole and Martin, the second thing is how quiet and peaceful it is even though you know there is a road around 150 to 200 yards away, and the views are simply divine. Carole visited us on a few occasions just to make sure we were happy with everything and a chat. Very obliging hosts who own and run a very easy going efficient site. I really want to keep this site secret, probably like other visitors but I feel it necessary to comment on a wonderful week spent at Shamwari. Axminster just on the doorstep, Musbury, Axmouth Seaton and Beer all within a 30 minute drive. Charmouth and Lyme Regis just a little further. Plenty to visit, just ask Carole if you are unsure. Many many thanks for a great stay at Shamwari, thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Pauline and Carl from Sheffield
