Nice spot

Having recently stayed for two nights whilst walking around the Lizard. Facilities were good ,watch out as some electric pitches have lower amps than others. Nice spot, more so if you have a caravan!

Fantastic peaceful campsite

We (couple) have just returned from a walking holiday where we were walking the South West Coast Path around Lizard. The campsite is well located for access to Coverack and Lizard buses within a mile of the campsite (check with owners for best bus stops as main road is not suitable for walking on). TV reception was good, toilet block was clean, grass was dry and fine to drive along. Thankyou!

Perfect staycation

We stayed here for 2 weeks in the CL site and absolutely loved it. A very spacious pitch with lots of spaces away from others and sheltered with trees surrounding the field. Very quiet and perfect location for the nearby beaches (less than 5 miles away) and ideal for accessing the rest of Southern East and West Cornwall. Ordinarily would have had use of the toilet block and laundry room, but closed for the season due to Covid-19 - not a problem though as used own facilities and there’s a laundrette in Helston and Penzance. Only 6 miles from Lizard Point and the stunning Kynance Cove. The site is well-maintained with a friendly owner. A big Tesco and Sainsbury’s is less than 10 mins away in Helston. We would happily return again if visiting this part of Cornwall. Thank you!

Jiffy the motorhome

Beautiful site, with a lovely welcome from the owners. We stayed for three nights. Lots to see and do.I don't think it would be safe cycling on the bigger roads as they are very busy and fast moving, but the smaller roads are fine. We walked the bridal paths around the site, which offered some stunning scenery. Lizard Point had plenty of parking for our larger unit. Lots of shops to visit and a wide variety of cuisines.

Lovely site, helpful owner

Even though they'd had lots and lots of rain, there was still a dry pitch for us.  This place had all the facilities we needed though we struggled to get a good tv reception however others didn't.  The new toilet block was clean and well appointed. A good location with access to the Lizard.

August 2015 Visit

What a great CL.....  Upon arrival owner came to meet us and discussed the facilities etc which are great with several showers and toilets which were all kept very clean indeed. Free WIFI also which the kids took full advantage of. Very helpful and accommodating owner, if only all CL's could be this this accommodating and easy going. Great location only 10 minutes from our favourite location Kynance Cove and Lizard Point... will defiantly be visiting this site again!!

Secluded CL

Just returned following two weeks on this pleasant site. The first week was heaven with a mix of age groups, including three children however the second week saw an influx of six boisterous children plus for whatever reason a very large tent linked to a neighbouring caravan by windbreaks. The Owner is very attentive but (you cannot blame him as business is business) allowed a couple of nights where there were six units plus the Tent. Facilities very good but showers were definitely stretched the second week and you could see that the toilets were affected by the arrival of more children not just on the CL but on the main C&CC site. Very enjoyable CL in a rural setting, you just need to be aware that a car is needed in order to get to the local villages and Helston

Lizard Cornwall CL

Skyburriowe farm has a CL that is a separate from an adjoining C&CC Listed site . Take care when booking and be sure to specify that you want to stay on the CL. That having been said it is well worth a visit. It has a level site surrounded by trees with a separate water and sanitation point and 6 hookups. The recently built toilet block is on the C&CC site 50 yds away and was well looked after. There is plenty of dog walking available along the nearby lanes which are relatively traffic free. The Lizard area has lots for all the family to do. A warm welcome and hassle free site. We will return for another visit.
