We were looking for a site close to Haddenham and discovered Slade Paddock. What a Gem, the owner Trevor has put a lot of effort into creating a mini camp site with a modern purpose built toilet/shower block and washing/laundry facilities. Each pitch has both running water and electrical hook up. The camping area is exceptionally clean and well maintained; Trevor is both a very pleasant and approachable gentleman. The bus service timetable is displayed in the TV lounge that also houses a large commercial fridge for general use. A useful/thoughtful addition is that bottles of red and white wine are available with an honesty box for payment. We also liked the security of electric gate system and that the working barns whilst occupied were far enough away not to be intrusive but would help to alleviate any unwanted interest in our unit. We have been to many CL's over our years in the club but must rate this one as being right up there, Well Done Trevor!
