This site is a little gem and such a beautiful position. Helen and Adam gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived and lots of helpful information beforehand. The site was clean and very well maintained. The toilet, chemical toilet disposal point and shower was quirky and perfectly adequate. Shower was warm with lots of space which is so good when you have children. A lovely dog walk over the surrounding field with wonderful views across Carsington Water. We had two grandchildren with us who loved the site and space available. We walked to Wirksworth across the field and had a trip on the steam railway to Duffield. The following day we cycled around the water (Circa 8 miles) having driven down to the Car Park approx 5 mins away. Will definitely return and the boys are asking already when can we return.
