Perfect little stop

Couldn't get in across the road and he recommended Martin at South View. Electric, water, bins, info room, loo and shower (which was very nice). £10 is an absolute bargain for this site especialy as there were free apples. A definite return to site.

Little Gem

This is a great site with a warm friendly welcome and good facilities. Well placed to get to the coast. Must also recommend The Three Horseshoes in Warham (dog friendly) for the homemade pies but worth booking, we went mid week and it was full. We will be back next time we visit Norfolk!!!

A great site

Wish all sites were like this almost flat grass cut short toilet and shower excellent hedged on 3 sides so view a bit restricted but provided shelter and was very pleasant about 10 miles from coast on decent roads very good value for money a little road noise but nothing to worry about what more can you want would we return, most definitely

Lovely CL!

Agree with all the positive comments from previous reviews - a lovely, sunny and welcoming site. It is very well maintained, but doesn't feel at all commercial. Slightly sloping, but this gives nice views of the surrounding countryside. Lots of space and not hemmed in by trees. Toilet and shower facilities were excellent and hook up was included. Great location for walks and bike rides to South Creake and Holkham. We thought it was delightful and great value for money. We will return!

A LUCKY FIND

Finding all of the coastal CLs fully booked along with other independant campsites, we decided to move inland a little and found this little gem. The owner is very accommodating and as we only had a 30 minute drive from previous site he told us we could arrive at any time which was very useful. The field is a little uneven but we found a nice level pitch along the back hedge and parked sideways on giving us sun on the front all day long. The one toilet and one shower were perfectly adequate for the 3 vans using the site and they are kept nice and clean. Lovely free, hot shower. The owner supplies co-ax if you don't have a long lead yourself as you will need to plug into his aerial. There is no wi-fi but easy enough to tether to 4G so not a problem. All in all a great little site and all for £10 a night - an absolute bargain!

Pleasant welcoming site

Our first time to this site, and starting out again after a 25 year gap. We found the site slightly sloping as previous reviews, but not too badly, you will need blocks. The site manager was very helpful as we had encountered an electrical problem, which allowed us to get the repair done without too much hassle. There is plenty of room around the caravans, and the occasional visit from the chickens was a lovely distraction. Toilet and shower where kept clean. A little road noise but nothing too bad. Overall a pleasant site for a short or long break, and all for ten pound a night what more could one want.

A gem to find

South view farm South Creake Norfolk A Gem to find in Norfolk I must praise up this site easy to find and central to visit places of interest. Great Views you can hear a bit of noise from the road nothing to write home about Grass had been cut before we arrived, cut but not left, some sites cut the grass but do not collect it which means it comes into your caravan. The toilets and shower are clean with great thought gone into them, best that we have used for a long while. A room with all the information on local places to visit plus more. You will need levelling blocks as you do on many sites. Also I must add the owner also provides TV aerial points at each hook up and cable if you are unable to get a could reception. This is our second time here and will come again. ALL THIS FOR £10 A NIGHT

GOOD FOR COTEHELE

We arrived at this site early but were made welcome.  The site is quiet and peaceful with NT Cotehele just down the road.

Peace

We were staying at a site in Wisbech but wanted to stay in Fakenham area.  Found it couple of days before we needed to move and luckily there were spaces available for the week.  Two others we wanted to stay on were fully booked and we were pleased they were.  This is a lovely little site with electric hook up plus TV hook up with one toilet and one shower.  I didn't use either but my husband said both were lovely and clean and there was plenty of hot water for a shower.  There is also a lean to shed with loads of books you can swap and info.  There is a little traffic noise but we live on a moan road and to be honest it didn't bother us.   Only four miles to Fakenham with plenty of shops, fish and chip shops, Tesco and Morrisons.  We went to a The Limes which is a Wetherspoons but it wasn't up to its usual standard.  Went to another pub/restaurant which I can't remember the name but it's next to Morrisons.  Lovely meal with a two for one deal.  Didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Only 7/8 miles away is Burnham Market, Wells etc. Would recommend this site without a doubt. Oh yes another two goods points are its adults only and £10 a night.  Can't be bad.

Good option for touring

I agree with the first review. The only downside is a measure of traffic noise as the B1355 can be busy at times and drivers don't seem to slow down even though the site is close to a bend. Take care selecting your pitch as levelling blocks will probably be required.
