Have just returned from our 4th stay here. As it's the only CL in the area as well as the only touring site, there was no option for our first visit. Have not regretted having to return for subsequent visit to home town of Largs. The short journey out of the town, along the Brisbane Glen Road is worth it for the peacefulness of the site. Despite there being non-CL sites associated with South Whittlieburn Farm, we have never found this to be a problem. The actual CL is well laid out and facilities, although fairly basic, are close by, adequate and clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
