We tend to expect one field and a tap - which suits us. This is a larger scale operation with a CL, a camping field + 2 other caravan/ campervan areas. Quite bustling over the easter weekend as to be expected. Toilet block adequate and clean The side pitches slope acutely such that we needed levellers plus some handy paving stones ( probably left by previous users with the same issue) There has been well intentioned attempt to shore these pitches up to reduce the slope which look rather ugly and crude Beautiful setting up a quiet road, a great cycle down into Largs......a bit of a puff up. Great access to the coast, the ferries, the islands. Very friendly and helpful owner. But wow, the price! £28 per night. Because it was easter? Because of energy costs increases and we will all need to get used to paying more?
