Nice quiet site with easy access

Well spaced pitches. Helpful owner. Close to bus route. Good base for exploring the Gower. The site entry is just before the "end of speed limit" sign and was decorated with lots of colourful flowers when we visited.

Lovely site

Spent a peaceful few days here. Really nice owners. Nicely spaced out pitches. Great for a quiet and relaxing break. We were very lucky with the weather too. Will definitely return.

Lovely quiet CL

We stayed 5 nights on this CL and really enjoyed it despite the weather! Easy to find and access is through a wide entrance. (Note the B4271 is not signposted in Llanrhidian, but it is next to the petrol station, so very hard to miss.) Recycling, water and chem disposal are all situated by the side of the large poly tunnel. Plenty of walks in the area, although you need to walk along the road for a bit from the site. All in all a lovely site and a good base for exploring the Gower.

A Lovely Site!

We stayed for 10 nights & felt right at home. There are wonderful views of the sea & the moorland behind. We loved the sheep in the nearby field, the horses, and the flocks of geese which flew down to join the sheep every so often. Mr Jeffreys was an excellent host, very welcoming & on hand if there were problems (which fortunately for us, there weren't!) We visit the Gower fairly frequently to see our daughter & will certainly stay there again. We loved it.

Great site

Great site, when we arrived it was pouring with rain, this made it difficult to access our pitch. Mr Jeffreys came to our aid even though this meant him getting soaked, he was very friendly and obliging throughout our stay. We initially booked for one week but very quickly changed it to two as the area is so beautiful, unfortunately it rained on a number of days so we booked another week so we would have the chance to explore all areas we wanted to. You have everything you need on this lovely quiet site. I am sure we shall return

Wonderful Site

We visited for 11 days in early September. Mr Jeffreys was a wonderful host, very friendly without being "pushy" (thank you for the lovely fresh tomatoes!!). Views from the site are great and, although we were pitched on top of the site by the road, noise was never an issue (It's hardly the M1). The Gower is very beautiful, lots to see and do. Would definitely recommend, and we hope to return.

Friendly no frills site providing excellent base to explore the Gower

Stayed Early May 2018. Very friendly welcome. A quiet location. Grass a bit long but presented no problem. Firm ground, reasonably level. Great access to walks directly from site and traffic free cycle routes a short drive away.

What beast from the East?

Having booked a long weekend away for our anniversary, we were bitterly disappointed that the "Beast from the East" put a stop to our plans due to frozen pipes at not just one, but two larger sites. Determined to get away we phoned Mr Jefreys, fortunately roads to his site were clear and pipes were not frozen. The site was perfect for us and our two dogs. Mr Jefreys met us on arrival and gave helpful details on all the walks we could do from the site. We stayed four nights and didn't take the car out once. We ventured out across the moor to King Arthur's Stone, out another day and walked The Gower Way and lastly walked the coast path from Llanrhidian to Llandimore. We had panoramic views from the caravan window's across the Estuary and up to The Gower Way. There is also a very well stocked shop in a garage a short walk down the road. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend, thank you, will return

Hurricane week!

Had a week here with 70 mile winds and heavy rain. Caravan rocked and the awning stayed up. We had a great week the sun shined during the day. Great area to do super beach and hill walks. Mr Jefreys made us very welcome. This site was great no hard standing just beautiful Welsh grass. Pubs not far and food was good, did need to go by car to get there.

Will Return.

It had been raining heavily before we arrived sometime in April if I remember. So the gentlemanly Mr Jefreys had to tow us onto our pitch. A very nice man. Never met Mrs J. Easy to get to, parts of the field slopey but not where we were. Very peaceful. Stayed two nights. Only ten minutes to Oxwich Bay. We will return one day. Garage a two minute bike away had all basic food needs. Perfect for exploring the Gower and a good price considering there was electric hook up.
