Cycles and walkers can use the paved ex railway line to get to places as far away as Lancaster, or, using also the Lancaster canal, to Hest Bank, Bolton le Sands, and Carnforth. All on the flat. 10 minute walk or 3 minute cycle to local Co-op, where there is also a cash machine. Calor gas at nearby garage. Warm welcome from Mr Whitfield's family, and a good conversation later with Mr Whitfield himself later. Plenty of room, very quiet and picturesque. No electricity but we lasted 4 days without it, no problem. No time to watch TV! This site is worth a lot more than the price currently charged
