Ease of arrival/welcome

Lovely, well kept, clean site - excellently located

We stayed for a short break from a Sunday to Thursday in January. The site is located near a popular walking area, with paths from the site going to St Abbs Head, into St Abbs village or to Coldingham Bay. The site was neat, clean and tidy and each pitch had its own water tap, grey waste and electric hook up, complete with a light if you arrive in the dark. The chemical waste disposal facility is contained within a fenced off area within the site and very easily accessible. Ali was friendly and very welcoming, providing hints and tips about what was open and what wasn't at the time of year we were visiting. There were walkers using the path adjacent to the site but this didn't bother us and it didn't feel intrusive. We really loved the site and it was a bonus that we were able go on some absolutely beautiful walks with our dogs, directly from the site or walk into St Abbs to the Old School Cafe sited at the visitor centre, for coffee and cake. We certainly plan to return.
