We have stayed on this site twice now and really enjoyed it, the site is on the South side of Snainton, the last building of the village. the site is level and slightly uneven but easy to level the van up. The owners are very unintrusive but friendly if needed. The area is surprisingly good for walking and cycling with very level and quiet roads outside the site but good hillwalking on the North side of the village with lovely views to the South. There is a pub in the village with good meals at a reasonable price. a small village shop and two good supermarkets within 6 miles. The site is also good for birdwatchers as there is open country all around. bus stop 5 minutes walk away to Scarborough, Helmsley and Pickering. If you want a quiet relaxing holiday look no further. A slight annoyance are the parked cars on the narrow road down to the site from the main road but only a few hundred yards long and usually quiet so we had no trouble. We will be back.
