Visited for 4 nights in September. The sites 5 pitches are of concrete and gravel hardstanding with grass on either side. Pitches are a good size and each has it's own electric and water supply. You can pitch front in which gives you a view over the farm fields or reverse in with a view of a tall hedge which separates the site from the road! We pitched front in and had the benefit of the view plus watching Mr Gordon train his sheepdogs! There is a toilet block just off the site by the house which was kept very clean. The elsan disposal is outside the toilet block. There was plenty of hand sanitiser in the toilet block and at the elsan point. Rubbish was separated into different bins in a corner of the site and again, there was plenty of hand sanitiser. The site is in a good location on the Gower and the owners are very friendly. Be aware that it is a working farm with the associated occasional noise of farm machinery and occasionally the farm dogs barking but this was not incessant by any means and neither were a problem for us. There were chickens wandering the site in the daytime which although very friendly our dog, unfortunately, only wanted to chase them so she had to be kept in the caravan or if outside, in her crate most of the time. There is a paddock between the site and the farm fields where sheep are normally kept but these are moved into the next field if caravanners have dogs so that the paddock can be used for dog walking. Dog poo bags were placed along the fence in little containers! The site is on the side of the Llanrhidian to Llangenith road and there can be quite a bit of traffic noise in the daytime but it does go quiet at night. If you are going to the site on a school day try to avoid school start and end times as you will have to pass Llanrhidian Primary School and the parents parked cars cause the road to be narrowed considerably. The site description says that the Greyhound pub is within walking distance. Sadly, the Greyhound has closed and is in a sorry state. The Welcome Inn in Llanrhiddian village was just that though, very friendly staff and COVID secure as far as it is possible. All in all a nice, tidy site and very reasonably priced.
