We were only here for one night, The kids, the wife and I,

But time just stopped, and we relaxed as we looked towards the sky.

The rain it came, in bucketloads but it didn't stop the mood,

as at half past ten at night, a walk, we thought, be good.

And in our coats and wellies, we walked around the grounds,

with bats and deer and toads we shared, the forest without sounds.

The pitch was as they say perfect, with everything so neat,

with a welcome, all so friendly, this site is such a treat.

We were there just a while, 24 hours, just one day,

and only £14 for four, there's not much else to say,

It's the perfect place for everyone, yes, even when it's grey.

Thank you to all the staff on Saturday, it would be good to see more collaboration between the C&MH Club and the NT to increase the network across the UK. It would be a positive move for both of you and a fantastic time for your members.
