Good M6 stopover
The second of our one night stopovers heading from the Pentland Firth to the Solent, this CL is conveniently placed for access to the M6 with the bonus of cheap supermarket fuel a few miles from the junction towards Cannock. A small but adequate, all grass area with the option of HS among some outbuildings. Efficiently run with the added bonus of a WC. Some industrial heritage attractions are within easy reach. It was disturbing to see a "For Sale" sign at the gate as the loss of this CL would be a great pity if subsequent owners did not continue the facility.
